Krista Thompson

Krista is the Chief Compliance Officer at Winebrenner Capital Management. She graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and in 2016 graduated with her Master’s in Business Administration, both from the University of Louisville’s College of Business. Krista works closely with all departments at Winebrenner to ensure all regulatory, operational, and technological needs are met. She currently holds the NRS Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional® (IACCP®) designation and the Series 65 (NASAA-Investment Advisors Law Exam) license.

Krista is a Louisville native and a second generation University of Louisville graduate. In her spare time she enjoys staying active, traveling to as many new places as she can, and spending quality time with her friends and family, her husband, Pat, daughter, McKenna, and their dog, Mia.
