
Earl is the owner and president of Winebrenner Capital Management. He has over 35 years of experience in the investment industry. Earl is a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Louisville and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Louisville. Earl began his career in investments in 1988 at Prudential-Bache Securities. In 1992, Earl then joined J.C. Bradford and became First Vice President/Investments Limited Partner. In 1999, Earl founded Winebrenner Capital Partners and oversaw its registration in all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
Earl has been nominated and been the recipient of many different industry awards over the course of his 28 year career. Earl was the recipient of the Business First “40 Under 40” Award, which recognizes Louisville’s foremost young business leaders. Earl has been profiled by Business First, The Courier Journal, and the University of Louisville Magazine for his vast investment experience and his strive for excellence in the industry. Earl serves as Class Agent for the St. Xavier High School Class of 1982 and was named the “Class Agent of the Year” by St. Xavier High School in 2010. Earl has served on St. Xavier High School’s Advancement Committee.
Earl and his wife Holly, who is also a native Louisvillian, have been married for over 30 years and have worked together at the firm for the majority of that time. They have a son, Martin, who is a graduate of the University of Louisville, and currently lives in California working in real estate.
