Rebekah is a Louisville native. Along with growing up in Louisville she also attended the University of Louisville (Go Cards!) majoring in both Accounting and Marketing. That was not the original plan, though. She started at Winebrenner back in Spring of 2013 with the intention of working full-time, locally, before transferring to a new university in the fall. Earl saw her potential early on and talked her into majoring in business, and the rest is history.
She worked full-time summers and winters at the firm, and part-time while going to school. She graduated in 2016. The real-world experience she gained while working, at WCM, was invaluable. She’s touched virtually every part of the business starting as a receptionist, and now, over a decade later, has worked her way up to CFO.
One of her proudest accomplishments was buying a house her senior of college (which as she says was no easy feat). She has since sold that house and bought a new one in Southern Indiana. In her free time she enjoys travelling (at the time of this writing she’s visited 25 states and has every intention of visiting all 50 over time), trying out new breweries, rewatching episodes of The Office and training her dog (the days he’ll listen to her).
